A brief overview of the association of dystopian societies in Croatia

SDDH is a non-partisan, voluntary and non-profit association founded in 1970, which consists of a unique network of 28 associations in the Republic of Croatia.
SDDH associations
History
The Association of Dystrophists of Croatia was founded 40 years ago, after several people suffering from muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular diseases decided to join together.
Vision
The vision of SDDH is to develop a society in which people suffering from MD and NMB will realize the right to live independently and equalize opportunities for life in the community.
Mission
The mission of SDDH is to provide support to people suffering from MD and NMB of all age groups through the development of social services aimed at preventing the progression of the disease, inclusive education, employment and inclusion in all aspects of life in the Republic of Croatia.

Since the cause cannot be removed, the therapy of NMB disease is symptomatic and preventive: existing symptoms are alleviated and complications are prevented.
